Small cabinet specimen of deep blue Azurite and bright green Malachite from the Liufengshan Mine, Anqing-Guichi Mining District, Guichi District, Chizhou Prefecture, Anhui Province, China.
The crystals in this gorgeous piece are a striking deep blue and you have a mix of small faces that shine as well as a druse of microcrystals. In some areas the azurite has been coated with goethite. And the bulbous structure makes for a very interesting looking piece of nature’s sculpture!
