Self-standing cabinet specimen of Azurite and Malachite from the Liufengshan Mine, Anqing-Guichi Mining District, Guichi District, Chizhou Prefecture, Anhui Province, China.
The crystals in this gorgeous piece are super gems; a striking deep blue and you have a mix of small faces that shine as well as a druse of microcrystals. In some areas the azurite has been coated with goethite. The malachite is botryoidal in areas and ranges from a deep forest green to almost neon.
