Yttrium Fluorite w/ large Calcites. Balochistan, Pakistan
Stunning cubic, soft purple (yttrium) fluorite from the Loralai district in the Balochistan province, Pakistan, surrounded by large calcite crystals.
Each calcite crystal is a 6-sided scalenohedral, with an angled-plane tip. The largest calcite crystal in the back has a healed, cleaved tip.
Very waxy luster with a nice inner glow.
The fluorite would be considered yttrium as it is a soft lilac colour, with a stepped cubic form.
UV reactive.
Measures 4” x 3” x 3” high.
